PraxisUnico and the Research Councils are working together to deliver a joint Impact Awards competition, which will facilitate the sharing of best practice and acknowledge and celebrate the excellent contribution that Knowledge Exchange and Commercialisation (KEC) professionals make towards enabling impact from investments in research, skills and infrastructures in the UK and abroad.
These awards recognise the important contribution made by KEC professionals working with researchers in turning excellent research or capabilities into real-life benefits and enables the sharing of best practice in KEC amongst the communities served by the Research Councils and PraxisUnico, and replace the PraxisUnico Impact Awards and BBSRC Activating Impact Awards.
Last year's PraxisUnico impact awards included Asalus Medical Instruments, and an international collaboration between University of Wolverhampton and the University of Maiduguri in Northern Nigeria. Previous winners have included Circassia, The University of Bath in collaboration with Ford Motor Company, Novacem and many more.

The awards are open from February 16th and close on April 16th. The shortlist will be announced at our conference in June.
