UKRI has today confirmed membership of the inaugural Research England Council, which includes PraxisAuril Board member Dr Phil Clare RTTP.
The 11 Council members will work with Research England Executive Chair David Sweeney to deliver the Council's aim to create and sustain the conditions for a healthy and dynamic research and knowledge exchange system in English universities. The Council will help shape the strategic direction and priorities for Research Englad as part of UK Research and Innovation, and will have an important role in supporting the transition process to the creation of Research England in April 2018.
Phil Clare is Associate Director, Research Services and Head of Knowledge Exchange at Oxford University. He Chairs PraxisAuril's Advocacy Committee and has been a member of the PraxisUnico Board for several years; before that he spent six years on the committee of ARMA, the Association of Research Managers and Administrators. His research administration and innovation career has encompased the Universities of Bath, Bournemouth and Oxford, and also worked the UK Research Office in Brussels.
