In-Part and PraxisAuril have teamed up to bring our members fresh insight into university-research collaboration, bringing UK and US R&D professionals together for an online discussion.
This webinar will bring together a panel of thought-leaders from industry to share their outlook on collaborating with universities and research institutes. The aim will be to establish what R&D teams look for in new potential academic partners; how they evaluate opportunities to collaborate; and what their current priorities are in terms of commercialising academic research.
PraxisAuril responds to the R&D Roadmap

PraxisAuril has responded to the UK government's R&D roadmap. The Roadmap sets out government objectives for R&D across Parliament (2024-25) alongside the previously announced £22 million budget. PrA members need to understand how these will affect knowledge exchange, not least because there are intentions to create a new funding agency (based on the USA's ARPA) and shake up research funding structures more generally.

The KE Awards (previously known as the ‘Impact Awards’) is an initiative organised by PraxisAuril, the UK’s world-leading professional association for Knowledge Exchange (KE) practitioners. The Awards celebrate the contribution of KE professionals to generating societal and economic impact from research.
Celebrating the impact of our research base regionally, nationally and internationally is more relevant than ever today, as UK universities and research organisations mobilise incredible activities and projects to fight the COVID-19 crisis. Some of these initiatives are represented among the finalists below.

Updated timetable for KEF and HEIF

Research England has today released information on a revised timetable for the roll-out of the KEF metrics exercise and provided assurance to HEIs about the use of HEIF funding for the current academic year, at a time when universities are providing vital roles in the COVID-19 pandemic. The letter, addressed to Heads of English HEIs, sets out measures to lower burden in the short-term whilst providing reassurance and strategic direction for the 2020-21 academic year.
