Cambridge, 18 July 2013 – A letter drafted by the UK’s leading bodies supporting innovation and the commercialisation of public sector and charity research for social and economic impact has highlighted significant issues with the European Regional Development Fund programme (ERDF).  PraxisUnico, AURIL and ARMA believe that ERDF is compromising the university sector’s engagement in local economic development. The letter, addressed to the Rt Hon Michael Fallon MP and copied to other Government ministers and senior officials, outlines six key issues and suggests how these might be overcome.
