The NCUB has launched the fifth edition of its 'State of the Relationship' report. It is an annual assessment of the health of the partnerships between business, higher education institutions, UK government, devolved administrations, and their agencies. The report was launched against the background of major changes in the landscape including the creation of UKRI and the launch of the UK's Industrial Strategy, which puts high expectations on universities and business to deliver against the 2.4% R&D target. NCUB's members have contributed 70 case studies that demonstrate how universities are working with partners of many different kinds, across multiple disciplines, on topics including; research collaboration, skills enhancement, student recruitment, and regional growth. Many projects touch on all of these aspects of knowlege exchange and partnership working.
