The Impact Awards, organised by PraxisUnico, will raise awareness of the potential of knowledge transfer activities by demonstrating best practice and impact. Entries are invited from all sectors of research that have made an outstanding impact through successful knowledge transfer. This year there is also a new award – Newcomer of the Year; recognition for those who have not more than five years' experience in a technology/knowledge transfer role.
Maggie Philbin, who regularly provides analysis and comment on technology for the BBC, will be hosting and presenting the awards to the winners on 16 June 2010 in Nottingham at the PraxisUnico Annual Conference Gala Dinner.
